Katie Lin is a multimedia journalist from Canada and the producer and director of “Beyond the Numbers”. She has a Masters degree in International Multimedia Journalism from Newcastle University in the UK and has trained with the BBC and the Press Association. Her exploratory nature has not only taken her to multiple continents, but has also contributed to her interest in focusing on human rights-related themes through her work. “Beyond the Numbers” is her first documentary short.
